Dubai Safari Park Opens Season 8 with Week-Long Activities Through October 18

Dubai Safari Park opened its eighth season on October 12 with a Wildest Opening Week running through October 18, according to the park's official website and Gulf News. The 119-hectare park in Al Warqa is home to more than 3,000 animals from around 300 species across six themed zones including African Village, Asian Village, Arabian Desert Safari, Al Wadi, Kids Farm and the Explorer Village. The opening week coincides with Dubai school mid-term break and features the Little Explorers Base Camp, a dedicated adventure zone for younger visitors open daily from 10am to 6pm with safari-themed face painting, arts and crafts, lawn games and inflatables. The park introduced a new Royal Safari Experience this season, a private four-hour guided tour for groups of up to 10 people. Season 8 operates daily from 9am to 6pm with last entry at 5pm, and the Safari Park Pass starts at Dh50 per person for ages three and above.

The park's conservation work includes 24-hour veterinary care for 42 endangered species alongside animal rescue and education programs. Dubai Safari Park typically closes during peak summer months and reopens each autumn, with Season 8 scheduled to run through May 31, 2027. The park is located in Al Warqa 5 on Al Aweer Road, diagonally opposite Dragon Mart, and is accessible via E311 Exit 52. The park's new brand platform for this season is Live More Wild Life, emphasizing visitor connection with wildlife and conservation education.
