UAE dispatches 60 trucks carrying 789 tonnes of aid to Gaza under Operation Gallant Knight 3

Record added

Five UAE humanitarian aid convoys comprising 60 trucks carrying 789 tonnes of food and shelter supplies entered the Gaza Strip this week as part of Operation Gallant Knight 3, the UAE's continuing relief initiative for Palestinians, according to an announcement on October 18, 2026. The latest deliveries bring the total number of trucks that have entered Gaza under the operation since its launch to 14,579, collectively transporting 138,030 tonnes of humanitarian aid to the territory.

The supplies are intended to address food and shelter shortages among the Palestinian population and support the broader humanitarian response in Gaza. The Operation Gallant Knight 3 team continues to coordinate aid shipments through the UAE Humanitarian Aid Logistics Centre in Al Arish, Egypt, which manages the full logistics pipeline including receiving, sorting and preparing supplies before they are transported across the border. The UAE has also launched the Ahmed bin Rashid Humanitarian Bridge, a separate initiative aiming to deliver more than 10 million meals to Gaza by air and sea, honouring Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, brother of Dubai's ruler, who died on September 21, 2026, and was known for his generosity and philanthropy.
