Air Arabia announced on September 4 the addition of a fourth daily non-stop flight between Sharjah and Bangkok starting October 25, 2026, increasing the airline's services on the route to 28 flights per week, according to Khaleej Times, GCC Business News, Dubai Standard, and Middle East Star. The new frequency offers customers greater choice and flexibility and complements Air Arabia's existing 21 non-stop weekly flights between Sharjah and Phuket, bringing the airline's combined Sharjah-Thailand services to 49 flights per week across Bangkok and Phuket. The expanded Bangkok service reflects the strong importance of Thailand within Air Arabia's network and the airline's commitment to supporting growing demand for affordable and convenient travel between the UAE and Southeast Asia, according to Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, in a statement issued September 4. The additional services provide passengers traveling from the UAE with greater flexibility to plan their journeys directly from Sharjah. Air Arabia operates a fleet of Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft and continues to expand its network from hubs across the UAE and other markets.
