Dubai's Global Village Announces October 14 Opening for Season 31 Under Theme A More Wonderful World, Running Through May 2027

Global Village announced on September 14 that its 31st season will open on October 14, 2026 and run through May 17, 2027, under the theme A More Wonderful World. The region's multicultural family destination for culture, entertainment and shopping will introduce new attractions and enhanced offerings, with full details to be revealed in the weeks before opening day. Season 30 featured 30 pavilions representing more than 90 cultures, over 3,500 shopping outlets, more than 250 dining experiences, 450 international artists delivering 40,500 performances, and more than 200 rides and games at Carnaval. Key additions introduced last season are expected to return, including Gardens of the World, Dragon Kingdom and The Little Wonderers at Carnaval indoor adventure park. The attraction has welcomed more than 100 million guests since first opening during the Dubai Shopping Festival on October 4, 1997. Global Village closed its 30th season on May 31, 2026 following a three-week extension to cover Eid Al Adha holidays. Season 30 faced unusual disruption as the park was closed for more than 51 days due to regional tensions before reopening on April 20, 2026. Entry is expected to be priced at Dh25 on weekdays and Dh30 on weekends, with free entry for children under three, visitors aged 65 and above, and people of determination. Global Village had opened registration for food and beverage businesses ahead of the new season, with applications being accepted under Restaurant and Coffee Shops and Kiosks and Food Trolleys categories until a final deadline of September 16.
