Abu Dhabi has issued a weather warning urging the public to exercise caution during heavy rain, hail, and strong winds expected until Friday, August 7. The National Centre of Meteorology forecast partly cloudy skies over the UAE on Tuesday, August 4, with some internal, eastern, and southern regions expected to see convective cloud formation associated with rainfall. According to the NCM, skies over Al Ain, Fujairah, and Ras Al Khaimah are expected to be partly cloudy on Tuesday, with heavy rainfall forecast in these cities. Northern and eastern UAE regions face reduced visibility, dusty conditions, and winds reaching 50 kilometers per hour through Wednesday and Thursday. The NCM has advised residents to take all precautions and follow official channels to stay up to date, as parts of the country are expected to see rain until Friday due to atmospheric conditions that support the formation of convective clouds. Residents and visitors are urged to avoid being in open or elevated areas during lightning and thunder, and to stay alert to downdraft winds that may cause loose objects to dislodge. Motorists are also advised to drive carefully due to reduced horizontal visibility. As for temperatures, they will range between 26 and 50 degrees Celsius across the country, with an expected high of 45 and 46 degrees Celsius in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, respectively, while Al Ain will see the highest temperature at 47 degrees Celsius. Light to moderate winds will average speeds of 10 to 25 kilometers per hour and reach 35 kilometers per hour in coastal areas.
