UAE Fuel Prices Hit 2026 High in October as Third Straight Monthly Rise Lands

Record added

The UAE Fuel Price Committee has announced October 2026 rates, effective 1 October: Super 98 at AED 4.40 per litre (up from 3.80, +15.79%), Special 95 at AED 4.28 (up from 3.69, +15.99%), E-Plus 91 at AED 4.21 (up from 3.61, +16.62%) and Diesel at AED 4.80 (up from 4.30, +11.63%). This is the third consecutive monthly rise after a July dip, and pump prices are at their highest levels of 2026. Drivers are being hit by crude benchmark strength, a West Asia geopolitical risk premium, and elevated refined product and freight costs. A driver on a fixed AED 175 weekly budget gets about 6.5 fewer litres of Special 95 per fill-up. Diesel's 11.63% rise pressures logistics, delivery and freight margins, with modest spillover into consumer goods prices. Watch the 31 October announcement for November rates.
